Business Development Executive

Department: Sales - Home Dept.
Location: Boise, ID

Job description

We are seeking to add an experienced Commercial and O&I Sales representative to be a part of the Mesa team. This individual should have experience in Logistics and Warehousing services. Candidate must be a HUNTER, a self-starter with a proven record of accomplishment in establishing new client business as well as high client retention within the industry. Experience of sales, and existing client base within this industry is preferred. Sales will be focused on commercial and logistics solutions: FF&E/OS&E, warehousing, transportation, labor, installation, final mile, white glove services, and other services within the commercial segment.

Compensation with commission on sales activities allows limitless earning potential.

Income is Salary Based Commission – Earning $100,000+ in the first year.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Responsibilities

  • Be able to survey, quote and enter customer profiles in the database
  • Work with General Managers to create competitive and profitable pricing
  • Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs
  • Actively generate new sales opportunities through cold calling, industry events, prospecting, networking, social media, and aligning with Marketing
  • Align with current, local and National organizations to grow Mesa revenue
  • Consult clients to determine needs and create unique solutions
  • Collaborate with Sales Leadership and Local Operations to define optimized solutions and pricing
  • Create frequent reviews and reports with sales and financial data
  • Work with current sales team; developing individual reps, manage their sales efforts, push for growth and diversification, align with operations
  • Create marketing ideas and campaign details to increase lead activity
  • Meet and exceed assigned targets for revenue production
  • Utilize HubSpot CRM to manage sales cycle activity and reporting
  • Participate on behalf of the company in conferences as well as industry-related memberships
  • Negotiate/close deals and handle customer-related issues

Requirements

  • Must possess excellent written verbal communication skills
  • 3-5 years of proven experience as a sales executive within the industry
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Thorough understanding of marketing and negotiating techniques
  • Ability to leverage consultative sales approach to build long-term relationships
  • Fast learner and passion for sales
  • Excellent listening skills
  • Financial acumen with solid understanding of P&L principles and pricing
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
  • Aptitude in delivering attractive presentations
  • Travel Occasional
  • College Degree Preferred.
  • Must reside in the designated market individual is selling for. Relocation packages available for those candidates who qualify.
